Fountains Journey

I’ve started an oil on canvas 1200mm x 600mm of Fountains Abbey as part of the ‘In the Footsteps of Turner’ series. It’s from a mixed media piece I did recently and I thought it might be of interest if I recorded it in its various stages of development, so here it is from beginning to, well, whatever stage this turns out to be; all I do know is that it has a long way to go! I’ll be working in the gallery tomorrow so I’ll post again when I get back into the studio on Sunday.
